Cheeky long tail macaques gather at the roadside in many areas of the Balinese mountain, including the roads into Lovina. They are comfortable with tourists and one of the best experiences comes from feeding them with bananas. Although one should always remember that they are wild animals.
Singaraja town tour
Experience a Balinese town with warm atmosphere. Singaraja is the old administrative capital of Bali and it’s only 20 minutes to the east from Lovina. See it’s colorful markets and unique temples or spend an exiting day doing shopping in the city.
Dolphin bay trip Lovina
A traditional outrigger boat takes you on the Bali sea. Enjoy watching the dolphins and after that snorkeling. The price is fixed by the local boatmen’s association, and is currently IDR 60,000 per person.
Scuba diving and snorkelling
There are several dive operators that operate daily trips to Menjangan Island, Tulamben and Amed. Lovina is located between two createst dive sites in Bali. One is a beach dive from a submerged sea wall that drops away to some fantastic tropical underwater sight. The other is relatively shallow ship wreck that promises excitement and little bit of mystery.
